We recently hired Josh with Hammer to Nails for a master bathroom remodel here in Chandler, TX, and it was an incredible experience. My family is so fortunate to have found Josh with Hammer 2 Nails. Initially, we met with many local GC’s but once we met Josh, it was an easy choice. We handed Josh no small feat to bring this 1961 house back to new life. Josh gave us a complete bathroom update, new pex plumbing, a complete electrical overhaul, completely new floors, complete gas line delete, new attic insulation, new fiberglass doors, major appliance relocation, and too many small, piddly things to even try to list. Needless to say, we’ve gotten to know Josh quite well over the last few months. So I can say with full confidence and authority that Josh is trustworthy, he is a man of his word, he is thorough, he has immaculate attention to detail, he is courteous and kind, and he genuinely cares about the families and people for whom he is providing service. One more quality that was very refreshing: if there was a point of confusion or a point that needed clarification, Josh was quick to pause and sit down and look us in the eye and talk through it, and you can’t put a price on that. My family couldn’t be more pleased with the final result and the best thing I can say is this: Josh is the only GC we ever want or need.

Had a minor job that H2N treated as well as I could ever have hoped for. It really was very minor but you wouldn't know it given their attention to detail and work ethic. Called several contractors from yelp and left messages (heard back from none of them for days) but Josh the owner of H2N answered the phone himself and completed the repair that day despite it being late on a Friday. Cleaned up after the work and made sure we were satisfied. Yes, highly recommended and will be used again.

Great work. Josh took a derelict old shade structure that had once had an ugly metal roof and made it into a pretty pergola. HIs work was conscientious and detail oriented and careful. Very good communication and attention to detail. I am very pleased.

Josh is amazing! If I could give him 100 stars, I would! Yesterday, he came over to hang a tv and replaced a shower head. Josh is very conscious of his work. He discussed placement with me and then pros and cons of it, reads instructions and then installs and then discussed how to use it. Better than my husband, if he was alive! Josh built us a Trex deck that connected to the back patio with benches. He did a beautiful job and I was surprised how meticulous and detailed he was with his work. Josh recently completed a project for us, where he removed and replaced a damaged base board, window trim, and drywall. The work product and overall project management were excellent. The end result matched the existing trim and paint color perfectly. Throughout the project, he communicated clearly with us, was flexible and considerate of our schedules, and asked questions to ensure the end product was exactly what we wanted. He was also meticulous in his work and left the work area clean during at at the end of the project. Would recommend Josh and use him again for similar projects without hesitation.

Hammer 2 Nails built a shiplap wall and encased a window indoors and painted, installed curtain rods and curtains, stained our door, shutters and posts and painted the interior trim of our home. They did a great job, kept the work areas clean. They were very professional and communicated well throughout the process! We definitely recommend them and will work with them again in the future!

09/18/21 - Hammer 2 Nails did a great job remodeling my bathroom and I highly recommend them. They are very attentive to the details. The quality of the job is impressive and it shows in the finished work. I would definitely hire them again 12/06/24 - I hire Josh every year for a new project because I trust the work will be exceptional. This year Josh updated my fireplace and I could not be more happy. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. What a transformation. From cheap builder grade tile to stack slate stone. My fireplace now makes a statement.

We’ve worked with Josh on several home projects and couldn’t be happier. He’s detail-oriented, easy to communicate with, and very reliable. They installed new kitchen countertops on existing cabinets, new double sink & faucet with separate sprayer, one new double cabinet and countertop on opposite side of the stove. Also applied handles to drawer & doors and a matching kickboard to the new cabinet. They noticed there were 2 live wires underneath the sink which previous owners must’ve used for a garbage disposal. With my consent, they capped the wires and installed a small electrical box for safety & future use if needed. Our dishwasher had previously been installed years earlier (by someone else) crookedly so with my husband’s consent they took it out, reinstalled it properly & sealed it. It hadn’t even been sealed! Now the NEW countertop won’t get moisture damage. Todd & Sam caulked & sealed all the proper places. They checked for any leakage, cleaned everything thoroughly, cut up the old countertop & large boxes outside, hauled everything away. We didn’t have to worry about a thing! 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐅𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝗼𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞!!! We HIGHLY recommend 2 Nails & A Hammer and will definitely use their services in future remodeling and/or construction.
